Artist description
We play unabashedly catchy songs that hopefully have actual substance as well. In naked desperation for originality, I'm playing with amazing musicians without enough experience to successfully emulate all the bands I can't help ripping off. |

Artist History
Er...after a few failed bands I was playing guitar in the attic and my friend james was "playing" drums despite his total lack of any sort of experience playing drums previously. Entranced by our racket, our friends susan and mike left their warm nintendo controllers downstairs and came up to join us. in a moment of serendipitous inspiration, i asked mike to grab my bass and susan to get behind my keys. i showed them the easiest song i'd written, a (mostly) two-chorder called, funnily enough, 'the girl is a ghost', and the ensuing noise was sloppy-of-course but strangely energetic and honest-sounding. after a few weeks of having "band practice" ha-ha, we started having band practice, and the rest will be history whenever we actually get around to doing something worthwhile. |
