Artist description Jonathan Peters, a k a Lymeric, is not your average hip-hop rap artist. Without disrespecting women, negativity, or the use of profanity, Lymeric represents a higher level of music. A devoted, Born-again Christian, the contents of his music deal with spiritual warfare, societal problems, and the end times. Having a wide range of cultural influences only serves to enrich the music that Lymeric has to offer. Jon draws from years of collaboration with other musicians in Orlando, Toronto, Tennessee, and the Midwest. For example, if you were to take samples from Techno, Rock, Rapcore, Industrial, Eastcoast, and Dirty South rap and mix them all together, it would only be a vague description of his versatility. Trained in the art of wordplay, his lyrics come raw, and yet have an edge and the precision to cut like a Spanish sword. Whether in the studio or raising chaos on stage, sharing Christ with lost souls remains Lymeric’s number one goal. In a sea of fake individuals and hypocrites, Lymeric comes with the personal experience, energy, and conviction to be a light in the darkness. Lymeric has worked with juveniles at all levels for many years. While attending Trevecca Nazarene University, he was a youth leader of the M.O.T. Program (Ministry Outreach Team). This team of college students go into different churches and minister to their congregations. After taking a break from college, Lymeric began to assist his church youth group in Bible studies and activities. This opened the door into juvenile justice and rehabilitation. Lymeric has worked with gang members, drug dealers, murderers, and other criminal elements that our society faces. He has worked as a counselor, a mentor, and currently a detention officer at a maximun security facility. Lymeric is working toward a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, and plans to continue a his career in law enforcement.

Artist History Lymeric's ministry is simply to reach lost souls and to tell them about Jesus Christ. From small churches to large gatherings, his music is created to speak to the masses. Focusing mainly on youth, the word of God is brought into form that relates to them. Music is only one of the tools used in this unique ministry. Lymeric has the ability to speak to youth through personal testimony and preaching. This ministry may be used in the streets or in the house of God. As long as there are young people lost in a world of hate, Lymeric will bring the gospel to any level of society.
