Artist description
Deaf Edison is a Midwest-based "Pop/Rock" band formed in mid-2002. This savvy group of musicians pull audiences in with a strong Rock-n-Roll image, innovative melodies, and aggressive stage performances, earning praise from some of the best in the business and securing artist endorsements with companies such as Tama, Ibanez, Sabian, Vater, Aquarian, Weber VST, & Slug.
On June 1, 2003 the band name was changed from Throttle to Deaf Edison.
As Throttle: Throttle’s self- recorded, self-produced twelve song CD has sold over four thousand copies from independent club shows and web sales. The first single, "What You Wanted" has been spun on several Mid-West radio stations garnering a slot in the top 5 requested songs of the day on WMGI 100.7 MIX-FM, a Modern A/C station with a broadcast audience of nearly half a million people, covering sixteen counties in two states.
Throttle1.com, the website built and maintained by the band, accumulates nearly two thousand hits a month with available downloads of MP3 song clips and video clips including a full length video for "What You Wanted".
The band is currently working on a new CD to be released in the fall of 2003. |
