Artist History
A runaway at fifteen years of age, Bobby Rutledge grew up on the streets of Seattle, WA. In and out of trouble with the law, he turned to a life of wandering, hitchhiking and hoboing across the West while honing his skills as a street musician in order to support himself. Now thirty-two years of age, Bobby has found a home in the Mississippi Delta, playing the forgotten songs of the homeless bluesmen of the past. Having come-up on the streets and highways of America, Bobby plays with all the raw intensity and authority you would expect from a genuine bluesman. |
