Artist History
Formed in the fall of 2002 at Grinnell College. Brendan met JP his first day at school, and both made plans to jam. Chris lived down the hall from Brendan, and together they held occasion guitar duels. Brendan first met Jason at a Microphones show in Gardner lounge, and later joined Jason on Grinnell's concert committee. Later, Jason and Brendan played together in Grinnell's jazz band. Throughout the school year, A Radura held occasional practices at Muzik Haus. They played a few shows in both Harris Center and Gardner Lounge, one of which was opening for the 90 Day Men along with fellow Grinnellian band Nash "Dick" Bongo. During the last few weeks of school, they recorded four songs predominately in Chris and Brendan's dorm rooms. Drum tracks were recorded at a secret forbidden underground location in the wee hours of the night. Brendan engineered, mixed, and mastered all the tracks. The band is on somewhat of a hiatus for summer break and while JP pursues his studies in Washington D.C. |
