Artist description FITH is an all-original, San Diego based group that began as a musical friendship eleven years ago and evolved into a passion for playing and creating music together. Their devotion to the music and its scene has led them to employ a large fan base and achieve appearances with many local as well as national acts. It is their solid hooks, and captivating melodies that allow them to accentuate the many facets of rock and roll. The strong and emotional thoroughbred vocals of Patrick Mitchell travel somewhere between sweet melodies and anguished pleas, and sets the tone for what is sure to be one of the best rock acts to come out of San Diego. Kris Bell’s pounding guitar rhythms and leads are intense and breathtaking. Their strengths are supported by the thick bass grooves of “Stick” and the precise, hard-hitting drums of Ralph Acquaro. Together the soulful melodies of talent and imagination spell out an evolutionary movement in rock. FITH has released three full-length albums to date. The last two, “Only Way Out Is Up” (1999) and “Can’t Stop” (2002), have both been nominated Best Rock Album for the San Diego Music Awards. The band has played at a variety of venues both locally and nationally. They completed an independent tour in which they played clubs from Arizona to New York and back again. Some of the San Diego venues they frequent include 4th & B, Coors Amphitheater, Hard Rock Caf�, Brick by Brick, The Scene, Canes, Blind Melons, and Winston’s OB.
