Artist description Obvious Anti-Capitalist Bias are a crack fuelled drive to the insane depths of grindcore mastery, fused at the near-point of destruction with the brutal rhythms of hardcore punk. Spitting out their own unique blend of Chaotic Post-Apocalyptic hardcore thrash punk grind, OACB provide Colchester’s premier punk rock sound. Taking punk to levels rarely achieved, OACB take it back to a time when punk was exciting, yet simultaneously fusing it with a modern energetic, and frightening level of brutality. Taking influences from such varied sources as The Locust, Dillinger Escape Plan, Wesley Willis, Doom and having your throat torn out by a pack of wild and hungry Wolves, OACB merge their revolutionary politics (“If I rip off your dick and ram it up your ass, then who’s the “fag”, you fucking bigot?”) with a deep seated hatred of the local scene “I kicked you in the colon because you thought being part of the local scene was cool”), OACB have something for anyone who hates the dire state of Colchester, the decadence of the bourgeoisie, or just like to rock out to the max. Unlike most of the rest of the local scene, OACB are just doing well for themselves, and making good rock n roll music that really knows how to whoop a mules behind with a belt.
