Artist description
The sound is a blend of Blues, Classic R&B, Funk, and Soul with a little bit of 70’s rock thrown into the mix. He has a powerful voice and has been referred to by many as the male Janis Joplin. He has a riveting stage presence that captivates audiences. When he is performing, the audience is listening and taking notice. His presentation completely transforms his persona; every time he takes off, his fans still are awed by his voice whether it be the first or hundredth time. |

Artist History
David was born in Providence, Rhode Island to a musical family. Both parents were musicians and introduced David to music at a young age. Growing up he was influenced by the sounds of salsa, jazz, and classical music. He began playing the violin at age 4. At age 13 he decided to try his hand as a percussionist but soon found that singing was his forte. At age 14 he started writing material and preformed his first club date and never looked back.
In the years since he has been involved with many different types of music. He has played with many popular local players and built a large following for his last band. He even had the privilege of playing an evening with the Ray Charles’ band at a local club during the Newport Jazz Festival. He is currently working on writing and recording his own music.
He has sung duets with the Raylettes. Played and recorded with members of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Roomful of Blues, Young Neal and the Vipers, Blueswagon,The High Rollers, Suicide Squeeze, The Ray Charles Band, Raise the Roof, Duke Robilard and the list goes on. He also appeared in and help produce the movie "Code of Ethics". He edited the audio portion of the Roomful of Blues CDextra for "Turn it up, Turn it loose" as well as designing their first website. He is an all around artist: writer, musician, painter, sculptor, poet, songwriter, performer, etc. And no matter what, he works with complete and utter passion, giving 300 percent...everytime.
