Artist History
In September 1999, drummer Ty Benson joined the
church worship team at Foothills Christian
Fellowship, El Cajon. There, he met guitarist/songwriter
Paul Lee. A year later, the two musicians formed
"Presence" band and started playing local venues.
In late 2001, Presence completed their debut six
song CD entitled "No Greater Love." With the
addition of lead guitarist Bob Kraus in February
of 2002, The band nailed down an origional
contemporary hard edged sound. Their music is
best described as powerful, spirit-led modern
Christian rock.
In early 2003, the band name changed to the
Paul Lee Band , just before release of their
second CD entitled "Unite My Heart." |
