Artist History decadencia traces its origins back to another band in 1999 when guitarists Albert Alisuag and Rallye Ibanez formed Echoes of Deception with a drummer named Apple and a screech master named Ronald Ramirez. at one point, future decadencia vocalist Lee Marc stepped in for session bass. the band dissolved in early 2000 due to conflicting skeds and difficulty finding a permanent bassist and drummer. fast forward to late 2002 Rallye and Lee Marc have just left downfall as well as 3rd generation drummer Andrew. Rallye and Lee decided to form a new band and tapped again Albert (also in Drill Pillow, ex-Man Against God) and first drummer Hans Lim of Tomb. the final lineup found Andrew (also of DeadWeight) joining in the ranks and helping shape the overall sound. worshipping the feedback-drenched sonic altar of bands such as Isis, Electric Wizard, Eyehategod and Iron Monkey, they also revel in the sonic filth of bands such as Immolation, Angelcorpse, Cryptopsy, etc. others shun noise and feedback, decadencia embrace it wholeheartedly as an ally. they hope to play a lot of shows this year and finally finish the long overdue split cd with cavite crust/thrash/grind lunatics AxOxDx (age of decomposition)
