Artist History Tod VanValkenburgh Began playing at age 14,influenced by Led Zeppelin,Rush,Scorpions,Yes,Genesis soon joined his first band at 16 named earthshaker playing the whole "song remains the same" album.Played in over a dozen local bands,and numerous sessions moved to downtown L.A. to join the Loft scene playing with future members of LOVE/HATE,GUNS N ROSES,WASP and others.Breifly joined METALLICA only to quit saying "these guys will never make it"(ouch!).Joined SILENT PICTURES who released PICTURE THIS on Flaming arrow records Formed FLESHPOT REVOLVER Who released ACT OF ART,and the EP PEDRO DAYS both on fleshpot records.Joined TRIPLE THREAT Who released WHAT THA?on Fleshpot Records.Played many gigs with KORN,SUBLIMEand a personal highlight one of EL DUCE/MENTORS last gigs.After Triple Threat broke up joined DASHBOARD MESSIAHS Who recorded but never released NOT ENOUGH GAS TO MAKE IT HOME,then broke up.Played bass with BIG FOREST playing several gigs but never recordedFormed SHOBOX in 1997 who played many gigs,and recorded manys times but never released any thingSHOBOX mutated to become VALKEN in late 1999.The best is yet to come VALKEN currently has over fifty songs to choose from for its first release on Fleshpot recordsRecording to begin soon.............................
