Artist History Smiler was formed by Harry Fischer, Pepo Meia und Günther Schier in January of 1975.After numerous changes inside the band, they reached the final of the "POP-O-DROM"contest in 1976, which is one of the most famous band contests in Europe.A record deal with BMG-Ariola followed.In 1977 their first single "LOVE TO LIVE / FIND MY WAY" has released in the USA,Candada, Australia and other 15 States.In 1978 their second single "LOOSIN' MY MIND / BABE" was released. But with success,disagreement came into the band, and they decided to split up, even before their secondsingle was released.1995 on the 20th anniversary, the founders of the band Harry, Pepo and Günther decided totry it again as a group.1997 Harry Bruckner joined the band (in 1978 he played the last live-gig of the "old"Smiler).1999 Smiler wants to fill the Austrian rock-scene and their audience with enthousiasm andtheir powerful rocksongs will help them.
