Artist History 'rot' was born in October 1996 as a trio. In spring/summer 1998 they recorded their first CD 'Für eine Handvoll Zwiebelringe'. In September 1999 they completed their second album called 'Das blaßgrüne Kasino'. Tobias Jansen joined the band as a keyboarder about four weeks later.
