Press Reviews
project_A is a relative newcomer to the chicago underground "noize" scene. The music combines agressive vocals and screaming with chunky distorted guitars and loud drums, all moving along at an average of 120 beats per minute. Vocal gating, distortion, reversal, and other tricks are borrowed from the industrial genre. The live show comes complete with two drummers, 3 guitarists, girls in fetish clothing dancing in cages, flame throwing robotic machines, and a symphony of electronic gurus adding real-time computer effects and processing to the live mix. - (underground chicago, 05/2000) |
