Artist History Precipice is a jagged peak of integrity jutting out above the gluttedmetal scene, optimistically surveying vast opportunities forexploration of cutting edge metal. Precipice creates challenging,inventive, pounding fusion-thrash to satisify any dedicated metalhead. Precipice was formed in Gainsville, Florida by two former members ofthe death/thrash metal outfit Hellwitch, Dave Silverstein (drums) andAndy Adcock (guitar). Although Dave and Andy co-wrote many of theHellwitch songs, they realized that the typical death metal formatwas both restrictive and unchallenging. Hence, their goal was toexperiment with the genre by incorporating various styles andapproaches to their music such as jazz, fusion, punk, and art-rock.Precipice has now joined forces with the crazed, gut-wrenchingvocalist, R.J. Hagenow from Vital Remains, and the driving force of bass player,Lori Volce to form the most intense metalengine ever constructed.
