Artist description
One student and one computer in the wild and wooly wastes of northern England, attempting an escape via music. ISDS is a project which brings together 1974's progressive conceptualism with 2000's abstract sounds. Think Pink Floyd mixed with Plaid. (But don't ask what it stands for.) |
Music Style
IDM, ambient electronica, progressive abstract... read 'variable'. |
Musical Influences
Plaid, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, mu-ziq, Radiohead, Yes (no, really), Pink Floyd, Third Eye Foundation, etc. |

Artist History
Began making music in 1998. Travelled at high speed through several hundred musical styles. Braked sharply into the leafy suburbs of melodic electronica. Now accelerating away in the direction described above. |
