Artist History
Hemys started rhyming seriously in 1990 in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. He formed a group called Dis N Daat around that same time. (Peace to Lesmes Caseres for the name!) They did school talent shows and also performed at clubs in the West Palm Beach area. By 1993, the group broke up and Hemys moved to Orlando, Florida to go to school. In 1995, he and four other schoolmates joined forces to become the mighty Skills Foundation. They were sought after on websites like Honeycomb Hideout, Fresh Finesse and The Landz, to name a few. Unfortunately, the group had too many different opinons on the direction they should proceed in. By early 1998, the group was reduced to two members, Hemys the XP and Mic Xcel. They decided to change the group name to Magnus to start with a clean slate. This year they plan to release 2-3 singles for public consumption. Peep them here at MP3.com and worldwide! Peace! |
