Artist description
This is a solo venture that comes from being a stlyistically ambigous musician. I play percussion in the SFSU Orchestra, I play drums in a rock Band, Legubitron, and I play World percussion for my work. I try to make my music comform to both preconceived songs in my head, and the instinct I entrust my hands and heart to. You will find that the songs written on the piano are very differentfrom the guitar song. This is because of my recent hobby of the guitar. You will expect to find a lot of lo-fi bedroom rock. |

Artist History
The starting point of my musical journey was at the age of four with the Suzuki Method of Piano. This gave me an excellent ear for music but by practicing habits declined. I found the instrument whose piquancy was beyond that of any other instrument availiable in my public school, percussion. In middle school I played in band, a children's group, and a jazz band that me and some friends constructed concurently learning to play my used 75 dollar drum set. High School I met Dan Macht (guitar) who had mutuel aquaintences with Aryeh Kruase-Nadler (guitar) through a Jewish Youth group. I had known Aryeh from Middle School and I also knew a bassist from previous bands. Chris Juvinal was a long time friend of Dan's and sang. Other members include Mike Shively who was guitarist for most of the four years, and Robert Tashima (trumpet), who I've known since kindergarden. Thus began my 4 year High School Band, Clovis. Other spin-offs followed in my last years for high school and into my first year of College. these include The Community Band with Steven Van Loben Sels (guitar), Brendan Van Der Mai (Bass), and Chris Juvinal (Guitar), Tadpole Angel with Corey and Dan, and my current band with Dan, Eric Ruud (Bass), and Nick Barbeulesco (guitar). |
