Artist History Center Mass was conceived by founding members Mark Wright (Rhythmn/Lead guitar) and Mike O'Brien (drums) who have been jamming together for roughly 15yrs on and off (started jamming at age 12). After a long search for a uniuque singer with a wide vocal range we found Chris Anthony, who's outstanding vocal ability is only matched by his energy and outstanding stage presence. In recent months we have recruited a second guitarist by the name of Brian Dower to beef up our sound and throw another twist into our song writing , Brian (not pictured yet) is indeed a powerfull addition to the line-up. Last but certainly not least our newest member is bassist Erick Berbert (not pictured yet), an energetic bassist with great riffs and vision. Erick replaced our last bassist recently and we can't wait to get out and jam with him live! We recently placed in the top 30 (out of over 200) bands at the Jaxx Battle of the Bands in Springfield, VA. We have appeared on Megahertz Rocks, a local music television show broadcasted all over VA, MD and D.C., we have also played at GeorgeToons in Washington, DC., The Underground in Fredricksburg, VA, The Grog and Tankard in D.C., Verona in Manassas, VA, The Golden Pheonix in Manassas, Sharpshooters in Manassas and Lewie's in Bethesda MD.
