Artist description abode's music is best summarized as melodic hush folk or acousticholly ... Guy and a Guitar type music to listen to with the headphones on, when the lights are out, or when you are having some down time. I draw heavily on fingerpicking for the framework of most songs. included are some electonic tunes i wrote a while back for interest sake. abode is a 25 year old guy, born in NZ, and lives in Canada most recently between Yellowknife NWT, and Calgary, Alberta.

Musical Influences Roy harper, Leonard Cohen, Ben Harper, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Stina Nordenstam, Air, Frank Black (and the pixies I guess). The Beatles, I like terry jacks too but i haven't heard much stuff.
