Artist History Started in 1988 by Pater Dysparia who then joined forces with OUT>>OUT 's Mark Allan Miller. After writing several songs with Miller as producer the two smashed their ideas together to release the full length cd "Feral Din". While the disk sold out ,and the record company refused to press more. The duo drafted a 5 piece live band (2 guitars ,bass and drums) too graft onto their already brutal and syncopated electronic /hard-core edge. After playing shows in New England and New York(breaking the BANK with their Communion show and scaring the sound guy at the Limelight). VEiNCAgE received lots of college airplay, Dysparia faded out of the industrial scene to pursue other musical flavors such as hard-core and opening a hip hop studio in NYC. Mark continued with OUT>>OUT while also opening a 24 track recording studio. VEiNCAgE released a few singles (Anastasia & Darkest Hour) on various compilations. But not much else happened in the public eye for the project since there were no more records or live shows.. Not to say that Pater was not active honing his skills. Writing ,producing and remixing for other musicians and bands. The writing of hip hop lead to techno and the writing of techno lead to djaying a very successful weekly party called the Medicine Show.Time passed, and the sounds and styles combined. From playing hundreds of shows as dj Medicine Man or in the rap-core band ECP or cutting tracks for ganstahs and playahs things were coming to a sonic boiling point.. As all these new experiences were being learned, something far more dark was happening... In under a 7 year period allot of Dysparia's friends and close family members died ( 26 by the final count) Some from obvious choices in life and others for being the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time.... From this tragic chaos came the foundations of My Brother Madness/Between the voices, still in demo form the tempo weighted down by cold fingers of Death.. VEiN CAgE is back ,reworking the My Brother Madness demos, working on Feral Din remixes, writting a new VEiNCAgE cd, soliciting record lables,re releasing Feral Din, remixing some other bands from various genres and basically getting out of the wasteland while kicking ass and taking names....
