Artist description
Tone Matrix music is not your ordinary mindless techno. Emphasis is on melody rather than boring 4OnTheFloor beats with recycled 303 bassline loops. Nor will you see any catchy copyrighted names such as the Xmen mix or Yoda Strikes Back mix!. I take my music seriously even when I make a big cheesy happy pop song, but there is always an emotion in my music. My influences from Film Music, Trip Hop, Rock and Electronic are what help inspire me to make music. Not only do I enjoy making music, but in a way it is very therapuetic. I know one thing for sure, is that it helps my migraines. |

Artist History
At the age of 8, I began to harass my mother's organ. (Yeah it taught me Edelweiss). My father's love for Film Music, became my passion as well as I grew up. In my senior year of high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life; Compose music for film. I studied music composition at New World School Of The Arts for 2 years, but (long story short) was forced to leave because of adminstration problems in the school (teachers & students leaving). Because I didn't have the "classically trained background", I wasn't given the chance that New World gave me and ultimately unable to study music anywhere else. For now that dream has been put on hold, but through electronic music, I'm able to express my most revealing secrets, emotions & moods. I'll be damned if I'm going to tell you what they are. Though who knows, maybe the music might want to tell you. I appreciate you're visit and thank you for listening. tmx |
