    Simon Apple writes and performs "intelligent" pop music without sounding "pretentious". The compositions are a fused mixture of styles that culminate by bringing out some of the better aspects in the styles of pop, jazz, progressive, and R&B.     Formed by the songwriting duo of Buzz Saylor & Jeff Miller in the outskirts of Philadelphia. In 1998, the debut CD, "From The Toybox", charted 2 singles in the U.S. Adult Contemporary Top 30... "It's Over" & "A Boy Like Me".
