Artist History
The band was formed as a voice for Producer/writer/frontman
David May, whose artistic perspective was shaped in Southern
California. While a part of the Terry Gregory Band, David was signed
to Columbia. As a member of another SoCal Band, Fat Barbie, David's
music beat out hundreds of other entrants to place in the Top Ten
"Local Licks" for '95 on KLOS-FM. His songs have appeared on many
albums, most recently as a selection for the "Young Dubliners".
Along the way, David has produced, engineered, remixed music videos
and DVD's for R.E.M., Eric Clapton, Green Day, The B-52's, Hootie
and the Blowfish, Madonna and Alannis Morissette. David has been
nominated for two Grammys, and in 1998 walked away with a Grammy
for best long form video, Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill Live"
