Not your typical alternative-electronic band. Genres are confusing, and if you look, 90% of thesongs on this site wrongly classified. A lot ofthe songs are a mockery of other musicians orourselves. While attempting to sound like everyoneelse, we only wind up sounding like ourselves. |

Press Reviews
"Want to know the only band that matters anymore? The only band that matters is...Poingly."--Suck.com (3/29/99) "[Poingly] is some sort of post-neo-retro-fringe-like take on music that went completely over my head...so if you find yourself saying 'hey man, there's not nearly enough toilet humour and penis references in music nowadays'...you might want to give 'em a go."--raw42.com (ehm@raw42.com)"Orchestrated electronica with digital and organic breakbeat/drum 'n' bass, arbitrary samples, and a whole lot of lyrical toilet humor. Dark, rhythmic ambience with the words 'Elvis' Last Turd' repeated over and over isn't for everyone, but qualifies as creative none the less."--Listen.com review |
