    Artist description
Well, four cheerful guys together making cool music for six years by now in order to not just scratch the balls for their whole lives but to leave a mark behind...kinda to show that you haven't lived in vain.Ignorabimus is the band from Northern Europe - Estonia- playing very original music with traditional doom metal gore vocals and with good clean vocals as well. The main purpose and will is to play interesting melodious metal with lots of rhytm changes and clear melodies running all through the songs and to become as rich as famous - the dream is to spend the whole life in the studio and on the stages (small clubs with about 300-700 people are the best!!!)Our musical highlight (and as fans!) is since playing to support the almighty Iron Maiden on 2nd of July in Tallinn, Estonia.

I love to get material from different parts of the world, from different parts of the Metal scene. Believe me, you'll find many good things when you get material from these countries. Ignorabimus started in 1994, but it wasn't until 1996 that they really started, with a lot of live experiences. In 1998 they released "Hinc Illae Lacrimae", their first demo, which caught the attention of a young label, Guano Records. The result was "Bad Da Zorp", a 48-minute album with nine tracks of a characteristic kind of Metal from the coldest European countries... melodic Dark Doom Death with some folk touches. They remind me few bands, but one was Amorphis from the "Tales From The Thousand Lakes" time, maybe because of some guitar structures. On the other hand their music reminds, at times the more Heavy/Doom parts of Heavenwoon, especially in the second guitar. The track "Ode to Joy" is a bit different, since it features a choir of 19 voices which, in a specific part, play with a new look a part of Beethoven's ninth symphony. "A Mind's Escape" and "Zero Toleranza" are just some of the greatest tracks in this album. Ahh... nice lay-out!
