Artist History
Formed in the summer of '92, after viewing the documentary "Incident at Oglala",
Michael and Chris decided to write several songs to let people hear the
worldview from some Wampanoag songwriters. Ray joined the next year, and youngest
brother Mark also contributed the lyrics to a song. The band's creative inspiration -
from the start - has been to help heal some of the long-standing wounds that exist
partially due to cultural misunderstandings and disrespect of the natural world.
