Artist History Jake Hildreth started producing music in 1993 when he bought his first bass guitar. After many unsuccesful attempts at rock stardom, it became apparent that the future of rock is destined to lie in electronic music. He started producing acid trance under the pseudonym (paco) but his inspiration was lackin for that genre. Soon he began to create numerous types of electronica and decided to release it under his new name, |-|ate.
