Artist description
Who’s hungry for some BITCH’N rock? There’s a new band in town that wants to feed your appetite. They are balls-out attitude, they are larger than life, and they don’t give a rat’s ass if the critics butcher them; after all, they are “Fresh Meatâ€. Just one taste of their music will leave you salivating for more.
What makes the meat so fresh you ask? It’s none other than saucy front woman, Tina Gravelson. Towering over her audience at a not-so-modest six feet tall, Miss. Gravelson often dawns eight-inch platforms to reaffirm her Amazonian stance. This, in addition to her penchant for PVC leather and fishnet stockings aptly epitomizes the phrase, “I am woman hear me roar.†And roar she does, which is why it is so fitting that she wears a studded collar and delivers each song like a lioness about to pounce its prey.
Musically the band brings us back to the age of early punk with a glam rock twist. They keep our adrenalin pumping with a barrage of cheeky upbeat numbers. Gravelson’s powerful voice fuses perfectly with the music adding just the right amount of spice to “Fresh Meatâ€. The lyrics are brutally honest and in your face. In true Tina Gravelson fashion she spits out phrases like, “I don’t really care who you think you areâ€, and “I'm not going to let one little f*cker leave me a messâ€. She’s a woman who means what she says, and you better not question her on that, because she’s bigger than you and she can kick your ass.
However visually stimulating “Fresh Meat†may be, there is no mistaking that their music is just as infectious and equally deserving of recognition. But if what has been described thus far isn’t convincing enough then you better check them out for yourself. haven't you been a music vegetarian long enough? Now go have some FRESH MEAT!
