Artist description
These Boys from Melbourne’s east have a serious
case of the blues and that’s just the way they
like it.
Formed in the back room of a condemned brewery,
taking nothing seriously - except for the music.
THIRD ARM, rekindle the long lost (and sadly
missed) tradition of the Rockin Pub Band.
A Four piece, THIRD ARM, believe in good
grooves, strong melodies and well crafted songs.
Influenced by a variety of different musical
genres, THIRD ARM combine the grooves of the
60’s R&B era mixed with the color and drive of
the Guitar rock of the late 60’s/70’s. As a result
this mix is an infectious and catchy style of
music guaranteed to get the head rocking and
the feet moving.
THIRD ARM play the hell out of their instruments
creating an energy few can replicate and this
makes for a brilliant Sonic and Visual experience
long remembered after the ringing in the ears
has subsided.
After exploding on to the Melbourne music scene
via a heat win then a subsequent Grand Final
victory at the 2002 Central Club Battle of the
Bands. THIRD ARM have been wowing many with their
scorching performances around town.
Now THIRD ARM have completed their Debut
recording at Joe Camelleri’s Woodstock Studios
and are generating interest in many camps from
promoters such as Neil Wedd and Chrissie Vincent
to the music programmers at stations such as JJJ
and MMM.

Press Reviews
‘THIRD ARM are a different kettle of fish.
Classed as pub rock with a twist. Bit of blues,
bit of rock. Great songs, catchy, sing-along,
toe tapping, beer drinking and dancing songs.
The crowd screamed their approval. Really
impressive musicianship, especially the lead
guitarist. Good vocals and a Band enjoying
themselves. I will definitely have them back’.
