Artist History Nicholas "Nick P.E.D.O" Oden was born in Augusta GA, and grew up in various parts of America. At the age of seven he gave his life to Jesus Christ but during his teenage years he began to stray away. During those years his father died from a drug overdose, he joined a gang, got involved in using and selling marijuana, robbed people, and dropped out of high school in the 12th grade. Also during this time Nick got involved in the secular rap music scene. He desired to sign with a record company and have his music heard by many people. He rapped about drugs, guns, sex, and had much arrogance in his music. He went by the 2 rap names "Quest" and "Lyrical Genius". "Quest" because he was always searching for something and "Lyrical Genius" because he thought he knew it all. Most of his life he was a loner because people neglected him. On September 11th, 2001 when the tragedy happened in New York and at the Pentagon Nick wasn't concerned about the incident or the people at all. But 3 days later on September 14th, 2001 a person he knew came and told him, that the 9-11 incident was prophesied in The Bible (Zephaniah 1: 14-17.). This cause Nick to rededicate his life to Jesus Christ and it put a desire in him to spread the plan of God to people. Soon he gave up rapping about drugs, guns, and sex, and started preaching about the goodness of God thru his music. He changed his name from "Quest" & "Lyrical Genius" to "Nick P.E.D.O." (Positive Education Distributing to Others). Shortly after God granted his desire of signing with a record company and he has the opportunity now for people to hear his music. He signed with Unstoppable Music/B4 Entertainment, and is completed working on his first release, which is entitled The Darkest Days. Nick has performed on several TV shows such as The Mix TV & Steel Roots TV's Mixx Master Lounge. Nick has also featured and toured with Altarego on his latest project Skadelon and has toured with Ricky B. & 4Given Unstoppable Tour.
