Artist description
For a long time I used to work in many diffirent musical streams( -noise,industrial,synth-pop,Future pop), untill the certain point when I started to combine all my influences in one. "Iceni's Oddity" shows this co-operation at it's best. in other tracks you'll be able to hear those influences more vividly, for many of them were composed accordingly to a style they represent. |

Artist History
John Voland started his career as a classical Pianist, yet the search for a more updated, more experimantal and cutting-edge music brought him to a Bass guitar and a double bass. Worked with many local bands both as a front-man and a bass player in a great variety of streams.
The experiments with electronic music started as a joke under influence of such bands as Skinny Puppy,Aphex Twin, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb and etc. yet soon grew to the passion of creating electronic music.
Also on: the neo-folk project called "Clouds in Vain" in the best traditions of Death in June and Blood Axis. And the Brit-pop, indie band named "SideFields". Both should be available to the listener soon on the "mp3.com".
