Artist History
In the Beginning: On December 31st, 2002, Pi Theta Pi made their first live performance to a packed audience at 1st Night, Danbury, CT, the largest all volunteer 1st Night in the World. With a set list consisting of unforgettable rock classics, "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)", "Lively Up Yourself", "Down on the Corner", and "Heard it Through the Grapevine", Pi Theta Pi entertained the rock 'n roll crazed audience for over two hours. After three callbacks and two encores, the band left the stage to a roar of applause. Pi Theta Pi had been so well received that the management of 1st Night asked them to play an extra half hour over schedule (something that's never happened before), but having stretched into another entertainer's set, the show, to everyone's disappointment, was forced to come to an end. Still, in other venues and other cities, and even on the web! Pi Theta Pi play on.... |
