Artist description
LyinHeart is a smart-ass rock band out of the upper Midwestern U.S.A. Keep checking for shows near you. With the title track to their upcoming CD being Good - Twisted - American - Fun, you can only imagine what they'll be up to next. Being oriented to large production shows, LyinHeart carries as elaborate stage sets as possible for the venue and the production crews to handle. They're always doing something... Writing feels so natural among the members that songs will appear out of thin air. A riff, a story line, a drum beat is all it takes for a new song to materialize. Most of these songs are loaded with double meanings and smart-ass hooks. We've yet to come up with a genre of music that LyinHeart fits into completely. Good - Twisted - American - Fun seems to sum it up best so far... The songs range from the rock/party anthem 'Good - Twisted - American - Fun' and the all out rockers 'Hate You', 'Pornographic Memory', and 'It Doesn't Matter Anyway' to the deep heart-felt power ballads 'Time For A Change' and 'Who Do You Want Me To Be'. From exotic dancer inspired 'Pole Trick' and 'Work It' to the pro-troops in Iraq tribute 'Let's Get Home'. The diverse styling of these tunes makes it hard for someone not to like LyinHeart. The upper Midwest location of the band puts them within six hours of Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, St. Louis, Des Moines, Kansas City, Omaha, and Souix Falls. Distance is not a factor for these time-tested road warriors. |

Artist History
The members have all known each other or played together since 1998 in various arrangements. Rarely does the chemistry of a band come together where everything is second nature. That's what happened in LyinHeart in late 2002. Four musicians who had played in various bands together, but not collectively, got together to throw out some ideas and the line-up has not changed since. |
