Artist History Kawanna Lewis, professionally known as The Oracle Jayne Doe, was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of California. Her music career began in 1988 when she was performing with a local group by the name of KSK (Kweens Savin' Kings). Soon after, she gained notoriety as a solo artist while attending Clark University in Atlanta, Georgia, performing with Ruthless Records recording artists Tab Money and DaVillian. Jayne has had the pleasure of performing in many venues throughout the greater Atlanta area opening for hit acts such as Wu-Tang Clan and The Dogg Pound. In pursuit of her dream, Jayne Doe made her move back to California where she currently resides. Her solo career has led to many performances and television appearances throughout the Los Angeles area. Among the most notable, Jayne has graced the stages of Billboard Live, The Roxy, The Hollywood Sports Athletic Club, and The House Of Blues. She also appeared in a televised performance on MTV's The Cut. She was also one of the first performers on BET's Comic View. As a performer, songwriter, and producer, she has currently produced two songs for her upcoming album, and is set to start production on songs for several local groups in the Los Angeles underground scene. During the summer of 1999, she completed her bachelor's degree in Entertainment Business Management at California State University, Northridge. Her future aspirations are to own a record and video production company so that she may give future talent a chance to succeed in the entertainment business. Jayne Doe has formulated a musical style that sets her apart from many entertainers today. Her mellow, laid-back tones lure the attention of everyone who listens to her music. Jayne's style leads the listener to think of jazz greats such as Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald. Ultimately, she is in a class of her own. It is apparent that she is prepared for the music world, and ready to reveal the identity of The Oracle Jayne Doe.
