Artist History "LOVE 45 - The Seattle Sessions EP" was produced and arranged by Geoff Ott (3 Doors Down, Nickelback), and Chris Hendersen, guitarist, 3 Doors Down. The four-song EP was mastered by grammy-nominated Chief Mastering Engineer Erick Labson (Aerosmith) at Universal Mastering. Pre-production prior to the sessions enabled LOVE 45 to get through tracking in a surgeon like fashion. The recordings took place at Seattle's renowned London Bridge Studios, and The OTTtopsy Room. It was long days (up to 15 hours) in a fun, productive, and creative working environment. The tracks on the EP are radio friendly rock songs filled with an energy normally found in live shows. "Don't Ask Me" is about being involved with a girl who doesn't understand the demands of pursing your rockstar dreams. "Awake" is about being blindly in love with the person you can never have. "Smile" is about being in a troubled relationship that has to end. "Over My Head" is about wanting 'something' so bad and letting this 'something' take over your life and it becomes your drive, passion, and obsession. Working with Chris and Geoff is rewarding for the Denver, Colorado based band. 3 Doors Down's Henderson calls LOVE 45 "the hardest working band I know!"
