Artist History I've been recording under the name Gone for at least 10 years now. I used to try to manipulate sound directly off of the radio patching though effects pedals and back onto cassette. Then my brother and I decided to rent a 4 track from the local music shop, and I hooked up record players and amps and started to make all sorts of experimental noise and ambience. Over the years I've lost quite a bit of the early stuf, which is why I'm so anal when it comes to indexing my music now. At any given time I have MP3's and WAV files on my computer and on CD-R. I don't see myself ever stopping recording, the more equipment I get, the better the music becomes. I'm really excited about having my own page to share this stuff with whoever passes through. It also gives me another chance to catalogue my music....

Group Members Gone has always been a one man project. On a few occasions I have worked with other people. My brother appears on some early recordings, and I've taken samples from a couple of the bands I've played in to manipulate. But 95% of the time, it's just me, some toys, tapes, guitars and effects and the TASCAM.....
