    Artist History
Mach 5 (guitar), Das Tier (drums), and Nathan James (guitar) have been playing together in various guises for nearly ten years. Beginning in 1994 with a very different style and a very different name, and progressing through a few line-up changes, their current sound began to solidify. By 1999 Selling Venus (version 1), consisting of those three members was born. At the beginning of the new millennium, vocalist Shatsy Page and bassist Triple-A were added to the line-up, greatly expanding the musical capabilities and sonic dimensions of the band. In late 2002, they began recording "Dawn of the Metal Man," a seven-song CD showcasing their songwriting and musical talents.
