Artist History
David, Joey and Harm had just left a successful band named Challenger and were looking for something to do. We decided to write some material and record it. We needed reinforcements so we called in Steve Kopnicky to handle vocals, Roger York for some guitar work, and Dan Thomlin on bass. After the first 4 songs were recorded, we decided to play clubs. Well, Steve couldn't play out because of college so we recruited Ron McComb and Julie Metz on vocals. This lineup played together for 2 successful years before we disbanded the group. At that time, we had written the last 3 songs and recorded them with George Allen (from Challenger) on bass. Steve came back to do one last swansong vocal on "Tornado" and Population Six was officially disbanded. |
