Artist description
A soulful blend of acoustic melodic guitar combined with emotionally driven lyrics. J.Brooks is an emerging star within the Southeast, and has already established himself as a regional opening act for such artists as Zack Hexum, Paul Casey, Howie Day, and was invited to Tour With John Mayer during the Summer of 2001. Driven by an emotional attachment that is immense, the fanbase of J.Brooks extends with each day that passes, and each performance. The Collegiate Times of Virginia Tech University put it best when it simply said,"Born to Fly," in reference to J.Brooks during a review in October of 2002. |

Artist History
Born in rural Virginia, the 22 year old singer-songwriter began playing guitar and composing emotionally driven lyrics during the early 1990s. Driven by his unexplainable view of the world, J.Brooks soon noticed that he posessed the ability to capture an audience, while maturing and developing into the incredible songwriter he is credited as being today. Following a three year journey as front man for the Unstrung Heroes, with the 2000 release of "Moonwalking Around The World," J.Brooks set out for his first solo career. The result was astounding as night after night J.Brooks continues to receive great reviews and the public is anxiously awaiting the Summer 2003 release of his already critically acclaimed debut solo album, "corner of sixth and virginia."
