Artist description Hailing from the suburbs just outside of Chicago, 8 per second is an original alternative rock band. Their sound is one that ranges from moments of serenity to full on bombastic fury. Guitar driven with an incredible effected rhythm section, 8 per second make up a truly unique and amazing sound. The current line up of 8 per second is: Andrew Spencer on lead vox and guitar, Mike Luttrell on rhythm guitar, Rod Dillard on Bass and Artie Carlson on Drums and Samples. Spencer and Artie have been playing for many years (formerly Hydro Static Union). Other bass players in the past include Dave Schillo, Steve Hahn and Tom Barr. The group is currently trying to build their following by playing shows all over the Chicagoland area. Check out the shows section to see where they will be performing live next.
