Singer Kelly Morris is in the spotlight by natural order, it seems, with her dynamic vocal approach and stage presence. Combining sultry and soulful tones with deeply expressive lyricism, this beautiful and talented young lady is sure to captivate audiences of all sorts. That’s not to say exactly that she’s the leader of the band, though. While she does provide lead vocals, all of Proper Jive’s players are up to par and bring something unique and influential of their own to the table. With a sort of rock and roll approach to jazz, funk and soul music, these guys are essentially a great party band.
