Artist description JOEY is a from the heart original rock project straying from the violently aggressive sound of today. It's a rock'in original project about fun and energy with a retro look and feel. Quite a concept, fun, but it`s catching on because we`re being told our sound is different and refreshing. It’s been described as a cross between Tom Petty, Blue Rodeo and 54/40 with a hint of Beatles. It seems everyone hears something different but one thing for sure, they like it. Based out of Mission BC, JOEY is made up of three members, Clay Thorn (drums) Richard Goldie (bass & 2 nd voc) and Rick Dojack (guitar, vocals, music). Rick & Rick (or JOEY`S two Dicks) have played together for some ten years with Clay being the newest member to the band having joined about a year ago.

Artist History Rick & Rick played in loads of cover bands over the years, some of which being The Deep Sea Cucumbers, The Spurts of Joy, and The Spurts. Writing music along the way, in 1997 we desided to focus on original music. After a few attempts to organize a strong band, in Oct 01, JOEY was formed.
