    Artist History
Edoardo Arengi and Roberto Rusconi, descending from past musical experiences in Electronic, Jazz and Funk, started a collaboration in 1996, being the first drum’n’bass and breakbeat producers in Italy. After releasing a track, (Saigon Dreamer on Ujamm’n 030) under the name EMBRACE, they choosed the name UNITY GAIN and then UNITY for future record releases and for the live band. In September 1997 a contract was signed with Hardleaders (London) for the single Galaxy which was released in March 1998 and reached #5 in the Dj Magazine d&b top ten. Furthermore the track Ready To Funk was released as part of the Hardleaders sampler Permaculture in November 1998. The new single is scheduled for June 1999. In October 1997 UNITY signed a contract with Timing Recordings (Berlin) and published a track (Razor Action) in the sampler Breakbeat Connaisseurs. For Timing Unity released also a remix of Dj Tanith’s Bronco (in a single containing new versions by Omar Santana, Mjik van Djik and Tanith himself) and the succesful Don’t use your mother on the Springbreak EP. Furthermore Unity represents Italy with the track Angel Fire on the World of Drum‘n’Bass compilation (on Formation / UK). This long awaited project will be finally presented in London on the 21st May 1999 and will include tunes by Grooverider, Shy FX and others.
