Artist description
Growing up in the sleepy suburbs of San Diego nurtures a certain artistic sensitivity. Nestled between the coffee shops, late-night cruising, breaking surf and backyard parties lies an unspoken malaise. As teenagers, Danny Geiger, Max Hellmann and Evan Oxhorn struggled against the melancholic tide the only way they knew how – by writing music that expressed these sentiments. The Let Go was formed six years ago and has, through experimentation and observation, and with the help of a new drummer (JT) learned to create songs that both reflect and transcend their horizons. |

Press Reviews
Listen.com's Eric Shea says " These guys take the '70's teen idol thing and give it a sonic and relevant kick in the tube socks. Kind of like that Weezer/Happy Days concept, except that there are no cameos by Pat Morrita." |
