Press Reviews
From Heart Attack zine on our tape, Demolition...In many ways this is a very old fashioned demo; all the lyrics are there, nicely printed in bold letters so you can actually read them, there's a long thank list and pictures of them jumping in the air. Musically, too, this isn't exactly breaking new ground. It does kind of remind me of Kid Dynamite but lacking the extra thing that would make them hip. I'm guessing it's the vocals that make it sound more dated than trendy. Nevermind, though, this is pretty good stuff with an excellent and powerful recording. The lyrics too seem to stem from a time when bands just wrote songs about whatever came into their minds without first consulting The Hardcore Guide Book of Acceptable Lyric Material. They have a song about stupid goth kids. What can I say-I never liked Goth, either. Oh, and they cover songs by 7 Seconds and Reason To Believe. MH |
