Artist History
The core of Mothertrain began in 1996,
when Dan Rose joined Tom Prebish's current band
that was performing it's original roots-rock
repertoire around Ohio and Western Pennsylvania
venues. The quintet's diverse writing and playing styles
coalesced through various personnel changes until
the fall of 1998 when Prebish's high school
classmate and songwriter, Joe Rohan, signed on as
the drummer to complete the alchemy that defines
Mothertrain's sound.
