Vocalist Chris Charlton has a very powerful voice that sucks you into his world, creating an aural dreamscape. Drummer Marc Sherlock shies away from the traditional metal percussive style, with his tribal influenced rhythms. Guitarist Chris McGhee draws the listener in with a nice blend of acoustic arrangements and distorted mayhem. Bassist Steven Streit delves deep into territory that most bassists never attempt, adding a rather unique layer to the music. As a group, LEVELNINE manage to create an atmosphere unlike anything I've ever heard before. Their music is not limited to any particular style, and could potentially appeal to fans of many genres.
