Artist description
Jogeir started to compose music on the Amiga back in 1990. He has composed music for some well-known demos such as "Love" and
"Full Moon" by Virtual Dreams/FLT, and not to mention Dizzy Tunes 1 and 2 (The Silents/Noiseless, Noiseless/Spaceballs), Face Another Day (Razor 1911) and various cracktro's by Fairlight. Late in 1994, he went to Oslo to work for Funcom Productions AS as a composer, and has made music on many platforms such as Sega's Megadrive, SNES, Amiga and PC. He has also been the musical operations supervisor for productions such as Disney's "Pocahontas" before he quit his job at Funcom. Some of Jogeir's compositions have won "international" prizes:
The Gathering '92 2nd place with "Variations"
Rendez-Vouz '93 1st place with "Guitar Slinger"
The Gathering '95 1st place with "One for me"
The Gathering '96 2nd place with "Keys to Imagination"
Tekno '97 3rd place with "Stranded"
Tekno '98 3rd place with "The Magic Spell"
Convention '98 1st place with "Convention"
Now he has released his debut CD called "The Wanderer", and it consists of many of the tunes above, such as Guitar Slinger, Stranded and The Magic Spell and others... He has also hired a professional guitar-player to contribute with his "human" style of music! |
