Artist description
DCA is a Funk/Blues/Jazz Group out of the Milwaukee Area. The music that DCA plays is diverse, but always entertaining. Ranging from music such as"So What" by Miles Davis to "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock, DCA plays the greatest music from many genres. In addition, DCA has numerous originaltunes in its ever-growing repertoire. The driving rhythm section and the sounds of the saxophone, with occasional vocals creates the uniquesound of DCA. With melodic bass lines, intricate drum patterns, a smoking piano and a wailing sax sound, DCA knows how to make music that anyone can enjoy! |

Artist History
Dave Zvenyach formed DCA as a "Jam Band" consisting of the finest high school musicians from Southeastern Wisconsin. The success of DCA has come as a result of the combined creative energies of the members. DCA has served as the House Pep Band for the Wauwatosa East Basketball games, has played at the Waukesha Arts Festival in Cutler Park, for many private parties, many charity functions, such as the Annual Rotary Pancake Breakfast, the Christmas Clearing Council, and perhaps their biggest performances were 4 times at Summerfest(The Midwest's Largest Music Festival) and 4 performances at Festa Italiana, also in downtown Milwaukee. |
